Kia ora everyone – I’m back – it’s been over 4 months and I have a lot of catching up to do, so here goes!

NEW MEMBERS – Please make these new members welcome when you see them around the course

COMING EVENTS – CHANGES, TAKE NOTE! 

  • PGA Decanters which were to be held this Sunday 24th will now be held on Saturday 23rd September in conjunction with the competition of the day and the District Challenge. Decanters is an 18-hole mixed combined stableford club competition, choose your own partners.
  • Saturday 30th September – interclub with Dannevirke HERE, tee off 11.30am. We have gotten out of kilter with this interclub event so there will be a return round at Dannevirke on Saturday 28th October. Time TBA but probably 11
  • Twilight starts on 5th October, free entry for the month – see our website, flier also attached with this email.
  • The Yellow Tee tournament that was to be held on Saturday 14th October will now be scheduled early on in 2024.
  • Thursday 19th October we host Rural Support Trust 3 person Ambrose. Flyer attached and on our website.This means that the usual Thursday haggle will now be held on Wednesday 18th.
  • Sunday 29th October Round 3 of D & W Salvers (18-hole mixed foursomes).
  • CLOSING DAY Saturday 4th November, details TBA.
  • Sunday 5th November we host the junior eagles tournament – course closed until after play ( about 3pm)
  • Ladies Christmas Cheer tournament Thursday 9th November – so Thursday AT’s Pot haggle will start on Wednesday 8th.
  • CHRISTMAS CHEER Saturday 9th December at 11am. Men’s and Ladies’ 18 hole foursomes

MARQUIS SHIELD CATCH UP AND FINAL RESULTS FOR 2023

After a bit of a slow start, the team came back with huge wins in the last two rounds, so were close in the end. Well done.
