They are currently leading with Palmerston North 2 wins each, but the team is leading on 15 match points, 4 ahead of Palmerston North who they play away on Saturday 14th. The team is Andy Gratton, Lee, Steven, Jason Smith, Jared Brock and Kelsey. Good luck, guys.

 OTHER NEWS

President Sam has asked me to remind you to repair your ball (pitch) marks on the greens.

 Key Details on Repair Times

  • Properly Repaired: Recovers in 24-48 hours.
  • Unrepaired: Takes 2-3 weeks to heal, sometimes up to 2 months.
  • Incorrectly Repaired: Can take up to 4 weeks or longer to heal.
  • Best Practice: Repair immediately, as damage left for just two hours can take two months to heal.

 How to Properly Repair

  • Use a repair tool or tee to gently push the edges of the depression towards the centre, rather than lifting from the bottom, which tears the roots.
  • Pat the area flat with your putter.
  • Do not replace torn-up turf; let the surrounding grass grow over the hole.

 Club Shirts

There is a selection of club shirts upstairs in the clubhouse for sale. There are more on order that should arrive in about 2 weeks. Children’s sizes are $35, adults $45.
