PGC Newsletter 24.02.2023

NEW MEMBERS – say Hi, Gidday, Kia ora to these new members when you see them around the course. We hope you enjoy your golf here at Pahiatua

On Sunday 12th February, the Weekend Pennant team of Colleen Daysh and Bronwyn Smith lost to Palmerston North at Levin.

On Monday 13th February, also at Levin, our Monday Pennant team of Deb Henricksen, Margaret Brislane, Paula McCool, Seona Ashton, Deirdre Power and Trish Cuttance halved with Eketahuna 4-4.  That is a good start to the season, ladies.

Coming up:

This Sunday 26th February, Colleen and Bronwyn travel to Ohakune to play Wanganui at Waimarino.

On Monday 27th February, our team to play Rangatira Blue at Eketahuna is Lisa Cotton, Deb, Paula, Seona, Deirdre and Trish. Good luck, ladies.

Our guys, who narrowly missed winning the Marquis Shield by one point last year (that’s gotta hurt), start their campaign on Sunday at Mahunga vs Carterton. Good luck, guys.
