MACDOUGALL’S TWILIGHT FINALS (Full results below)
On Saturday 9th April the twilight finals were held – after a couple of delays – (bloody covid).
The Ambrose competition over 9 holes was won by Dazza’s team, followed by the Smiths and PCCB (Pete T’s team). After a delicious meal the season’s prizegiving was held. Top lady was Dawn Smith, top man Darryl Sowry and the overall winning team was Darryl’s Dazza’s team. Alas, the winner of the wooden spoon was our main sponsor’s team. Special thanks were made to Brett MacDougall for sponsorship, Steve McHardy for running a successful twilight season throughout summer – including providing meals, and to Megan McHardy for her delicious salads at the final dinner. Thanks to all who have contributed to the running of twilight this year.
Check out Bush Telegraph the week of 2nd May for photos of prizewinners, if they don’t go to press, I will publish in an upcoming newsletter.
BUSH CLASSIC
$2700 has been transferred to each club, a fantastic achievement by the dedicated organising committee and all those who played and supported the tournament in other ways. Hopefully we can put the $$
towards something tangible, not just “disappear” into the coffers.
