FROM THE COMMITTEE MEETING (supplied by Margaret)

  1. Our condolences to those members who have recently lost loved ones.
  2. Insurance claim has been lodged to repair/replace the damaged sails – as a temporary measure the men’s tee on #17 has been relocated to the ladies tee.
  3. The bottom of the course will remain closed whilst it dries out.
  4. All Finals Day – now 9th October with reserve day 16th October.
  5. Twilight starts 7th October
  6. PGA Decanters – 13th November 12 noon start – mixed – stableford
  7. There has been a massive amount of work being done on the course and special thanks to Tony, Duey, Andrew, Steve and all those who have helped with fallen trees etc.
  8. Thanks to Stu. Huddleston for siting the new seats and repairing existing ones around the course.
  9. Tony reported lambing is going well.
  10. Although the last 2 months haven’t been easy Andrew is happy with the financial position of the Club as our financial year ends. Thank you Andrew for your careful control of our finances.
  11. If any member is thinking about purchasing a shipping container for whatever – please check out www.seacontainers.co.nz – they are offering a $150 donation to your club of choice.

CLUB AGM is coming up on Wednesday 17th November: Time for members to give serious consideration to allow their name to go forward for committee positions.

PROGRAMME CHANGES – Due to Delta knocking our golf season around, there have had to be some changes to our programme some which I have listed below. You can also check out the full club programme on our website under UPCOMING EVENTS. There are no results to report at this time. Farmlands Tournament deferred until February
