BREAKING NEWS – WAIRARAPA VETS WILL NOT BE PLAYING HERE TOMORROW, THURSDAY 8th DUE TO THE CORING:

They wanted to play the entire course, I’m not sure if they will be taking up the option of playing on the reserve day (Thursday 15th).

Welcome to new members

Mother and son, Lisa and Aydan Lyons, both new golfers, have joined up. Lisa is keen to become an 18-hole member. Please make them welcome if you see them around.

ALAN TURNER – AT had a great send off on Wednesday in the clubhouse. Thanks to those who were able to attend and to the ladies for their catering. Thanks to son Colly for giving us all the opportunity to say farewell and drink to his memory. There were many tales shared by those who knew him best.

Thursday 8th – Hibberd club haggle and WAIRARAPA VETS – all welcome, 12 noon now 12.15pm

Saturday 10th – See opposite TRADIES TOURNAMENT 12 noon, stableford, weekend ladies’ LGU Silver medal and stableford button, Ladies’ please play nett as well if you are in Tuesday’s competition.

Monday 12thWomen’s Pennants

District team vs Feilding will be playing HERE (10am until 2pm) the course is not closed but the players have right of way.

Our Silver team will be playing at Eketahuna vs Manawatu.

Tuesday 13th – LGU Silver medal and stableford button (nett)

Saturday 17th – Interclub with Dannevirke at Dannevirke, 10.30 morning tea, tee off 11am. Please make your own way up there. Pool cars if you can.

Sunday 18th – Championship Pennant vs Palmerston North at Palmerston North.

BUSH CLASSIC 2022

The Bush Classic committee has had a debrief meeting for the 2021 tournament and we report that each club will receive $1950 in proceeds from the tournament. Many thanks for the sponsorship received from the Post Office Hotel, Mates Rates Insulation and of course Trust House.

The 2022 dates (20th year of the Bush Classic) are set for January 15th (Saturday at Pahiatua) and 16th (Sunday at Eketahuna).

REMINDER OF TOURNAMENT AT EKETAHUNA THIS SUNDAY

Entry fee $20, morning tea 10.30, Tee off 11am.
