Good luck to our ladies heading off to Ohope to play in the Ladies’ North Island tournament commencing Friday 12th February. Our team is Pam Bisset, Colleen Daysh and Margaret Drysdale who are the defending champions. Good Luck ladies.

LADIES PENNANT – good luck ladies’

Good luck also to our three teams who are starting Pennants this week.

On Sunday Lisa Cotton and Lindy Wheeler play Wanganui at Manawatu.

On Monday, at Marton, our District team of Margaret Brislane, Paula McCool, Rona Squires and Seona Ashton play the home team (Marton), while the Silver team plays Eketahuna – due to 3 of our usual players travelling away to Ohope, this team has not been finalised. TWILIGHT NEWS – THURSDAY 25th FEBRUARY

Steven has asked me to let you all know that on Thursday 25th February we will be having live-streamed cricket in the bar. It’s a T20 match; Black Caps vs Australia at 7pm. There will be burgers and chips on sale. Everyone is welcome to come on down and join us.

FEEDBACK FROM CARAVANNERS TOURNAMENT

We received this wonderful feedback from a player, John Reid, who played at the weekend’s Tararua Golf Open supported by NZMCA.
“I would just like to thank you for the fantastic condition you present your course. A special thanks to the members, staff and volunteers, you should be proud of your course. I look forward to returning again next year, All the best.”

GREEN FEES, EKETAHUNA

Please be advised that Eketahuna has increased their green fees, effective immediately. For us this means that members of Pahiatua Golf Club are subject to reciprocal green fee rights, and the fee our members pay is $15. This is in line with what they pay at our club.

Their full green fee rate is now $25.

We also enjoy reciprocal rates with Linton Camp; check at the club for the fee when you play.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

Most of you will have your sub invoices by now, these are due on 28th February, and the last day for payment is 31st March. To be eligible for club competitions, you must be financial as at this date. Payment options are available, if you wish to discuss this, please contact Andrew McKnight, 376 7445 or email him on mcknights@xtra.co.nz.
