CORONAVIRUS – COVID-19 OUR RESPONSE

Following advice from NZ Golf, we have implemented the following restrictions in our effort to protect our members and visitors. For now, restrictions do not prevent clubs from operating their clubs, however it has been suggested clubs consider the following (as at 18th March 2020):

Health and safety must take priority over any other consideration – please check our Facebook page for any changes to the below:

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

We ask members and guests to stay away from the club if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms

We ask members and guests to stay away from the club if they have been travelling internationally in the past 14 days

We are implementing a minimum 10 minute interval between tee times

We ask players to not remove the pin when putting

We have removed the rakes from the bunkers

We have closed the drinking fountains

We ask that players, where possible, limit person-to-person contact (accepted standard is 2 metres), particularly upstairs in the clubhouse

 Handshakes be avoided

CHECK THE LOCAL RULES BOARD AND THE SLOT FOR PLACING AS TONY HAS REMOVED PLACING FROM THE COURSE SO YOU NEED TO PLAY THE LIE WHEN THE BOARD INDICATES NO PLACING.
