PGC Newsletter 25.06.2019

LADIES PENNANTS: Last Monday at Rangitikei, our Silver pennant team whitewashed a Rangatira team 6-0, a great result. I reported in the last newsletter Rangatira was leading the competition, but it was their other team (we had previously beaten them) that is in fact in the lead. With two rounds to go, we need to win both those games.

Our District team on the same day and course lost to Manawatu and have finished in a creditable 6th place. Our players for the finals (names not available for my last newsletter) were Margaret Brislane, Rona Squires, Trish Cuttance and Seona Ashton. Convenor Trish Cuttance would like to thank all players who made themselves available for selection this year.

Next Monday, the Silver team play Marton at Levin. The team is Pam Bisset, Deb Henricksen, Colleen Daysh and Margaret Brislane. Good luck ladies

NEW MEMBER: Please join me in welcoming a new lady member to the club – Tracy Crispin is getting back into golf after a few years away from the game. She is playing with us on Tuesdays and we are delighted to have her joining us
