FROM THE COMMITTEE MEETING SATURDAY 24TH SEPT. 2022

Hi everyone

Just to keep you all up to date....

1. As from next Saturday 1st October - tee off time on Saturday will revert to 12.15pm.

2. Lift, clean & place will remain until 30th September BUT WATCH THE BOARD AS THIS COULD CHANGE.

3. The YELLOW TEE TOURNAMENT has been moved from the programme advertised day of the 15th October to - MONDAY 24TH OCTOBER (LABOUR DAY) - tee off 11am.

4. TWILIGHT starts 6th October - tee off from 4.30pm

5. A huge thank you to Paula McCool for the amazing job she is doing with the junior golfers. If you are available on Thursday morning the 6th & or 13th of October from 9am to help Paula with the school holiday coaching programme - please give her a call on 021 0294 3566

6. A very successful tournament sponsored by Property Brokers was held last Thursday with proceeds going to Rural Support Trust.  It was amazing to see the clubrooms full after play.

There were 150 plus in the field - thank you to all our members who helped on the day.

7. Our AGM is coming up fast - (Wednesday 23rd November @ 7pm). We ask that everyone thinks about how they could help us move our Club onwards and upwards.  We not only have to future proof our buildings but also we need new "blood" on the committee at all levels. - PLEASE give it some thought.

8. Our on-going thanks to Jason, Andrew and their team for keeping our course in such marvellous condition during what has been trying times.

Hope you all get out to enjoy this settled weather. (Hope I haven't jinxed it)

9. Our thoughts go out to the Day family on the recent passing of Ian, a much respected member of many years.

Thanks everyone
