PRINTING OF CARDS FOR COMPETITIONS OR EXTRA DAY ROUNDS – please read!!

Right, people. There is some confusion with players and frustration with admin around printing a card when you are not entering the competition. Particularly on Saturdays.

So, if you are just going out for a hit with friends or family, outside competition times, please do not select YES for the competition, press NO and then CONTINUE then you will be taken through to the next screen when you can select either white (men) 18 holes or yellow (women) 18 or 9 holes.

Short story, if you are not playing at the designated tee off times, you are not in the comp.

SCANNER - The Scanner is now located just outside the downstairs office and works just fine. You need to mark your actual score with a X in the panel on the left-hand side of the card. It will scan either way up. Make sure you check thoroughly that the score is correct before you save it. You can edit, and key in your score if something is awry. If it doesn’t seem right, check that the X matches the written score.

Or you can manually enter your scores on that computer, or at the kiosk outside.

SUCCESSFUL TOURNAMENT IN SUPPORT OF TARARUA RURAL SUPPORT TRUST

Article supplied by member Jared Brock, Property Brokers, Pahiatua, thanks, Jared.

What a great day had by both pros and hackers alike, at our annual golf tournament, in support of the Tararua Rural Support Trust. Pahiatua finally provided a beautiful fine day after a trying spring so far.

A total of $15,000.00 was raised for this exceptional organisation, that adds so much value in our rural community. We are so proud to be able to help Jane and the Team.

With over 120 participants it was great to see a large number of farmers taking the day off and spending some time outside the farm gate at the well-presented Pahiatua Golf Club.

Spirited bidding saw special guests Justin Marshall and Christian Cullen auctioned off prior to the days play, at over $1000.00 each.

Special thanks go to the team of willing supporters from Property Brokers Pahiatua  specially Kelly Hartley-Brown and the Tararua Rural Support Trust committee who helped organise and collate this great event.

Days like this would not be possible without the support of the generous sponsors who helped and the entrants who donated on the day.

This is our third year of being part of this event and with over $40,000 raised we hope to keep this popular event going for years to come.
