TOURNAMENTS COMING UP – these are open to all - check out our Upcoming Events page to view details of the tournaments.

MARQUIS SHIELD: Our team played Martinborough at Carterton on Sunday in the final round of the season. I’m told they were well beaten. I’m not sure of the final standings, I don’t think we grabbed any silverware, but our team acquitted themselves pretty well for a first up playing in this competition after many (many) years.

LADIES PENNANTS: Our Championship Pennant team lost all three matches to Palmerston North at Marton on Sunday. It has been a challenging season for them, and they have finished in last place in a competition where matches are played off the stick and against players on low handicaps.

Next Monday at Rangitikei, our Silver pennant team of Lisa Cotton, Pam Bisset, Deb Henricksen and Lindy Wheeler take on the leaders Rangatira and our District team is playing the finals against Manawatu. The team hadn’t been finalised when we went to print tonight. Good golfing ladies.
