The jackpot was not struck

On Friday after all the rain, and on a very damp course, a visitor from Rarangi Golf Club Blair Bavin shot a 65 off the stick, playing to a -3.5 differential. We believe this to equal the record – but because we have placing, this is not considered to be a course record, rather a gross record. What a round!!. Blair plays on a 3 handicap.

30th June – DONALD & WILLIAMS FOURSOMES – a nett mixed event for club members. Three 18-hole rounds are played with the best 2 rounds counting towards the trophies. Get yourself a partner and join in. Other rounds will be played on Sunday 14th July and Sunday 11th August. Tee off is at 12noon each day.

Friday 5th July: EAST OF THE RANGES TOURNAMENT – more details next week AND on the website.

Saturday 6th July: MID-WINTER CHRISTMAS CHEER Canadian Foursomes (ONLY ladies’ teams and men’s teams – NO mixed) again, more details next week AND on the website.
